Strange title, right?
Let me just say, I love animals. Particularly, I love dogs. Luckily, my hubby feels the same way because stray dogs tend to find us.
Seriously, we rescued Irie (by adoption) about three months after we got married. We chose her; we wanted her. We planned for her. About two months after that, I came home to a squad car, fire truck, and ARMY SUV in my yard and my husband on his belly in the ditch. Scary!
That was the day we took in Football. Literally, took him in from the drain pipe he had been stuck in and washed him up, medicated him, and loved him forever.
Saturday I got home from Teen 180 to find ANOTHER puppy in my living room. Hubs claims this one walked up in the hail storm and he couldn't leave him outside in the bad weather. This dog is stinkin' adorable. I hate it! (not the dog - the fact that it's adorable) So, I have called the dog catcher; we have been taking care of the poor pup since Saturday. He is so loving and our dogs get along with him well, but we just can't take on another pup. I'm convincing myself that we can't do this. I haven't even allowed the poor dog in the house at night; he has been sleeping on our front stoop. I just already feel like I love him and if that happens I won't be able to let him go and I've already decided...
We can't keep another dog.
