Apple Picking

I've been much more conscious of spending time with my hubby these last few months since come January it will no longer be just the 2 of us.

I want us to do things that might not be easy to do as a couple in a few months.

One of the items on my fall bucket list was to go apple picking.

We are very blessed in the area we live in with so many great things to do.  

We live close to the North Carolina State Zoo, within a few hours of the beach or mountains, a short drive to Charlotte or Raleigh, and many small town gems like Mill Stone Creek Orchards.

It was the perfect day for apple picking and unbeknownst to us it was the last day of picking for the season!  With the warm temps I expected us to be a tad early.

If you visit Mill Stone Creek, you must try one of their delicious apple cider slushies.

I have to admit I was skeptical, but I could have one every day.  Yum!
